Dr. Majid Bin Ali Al Nuaimi praised efforts of the wise governments and their tireless efforts to improve education and investment in the human being. He also stressed the importance of academic cooperation among educational institutions in general, reiterating the Ministry’s keenness to cooperate effectively with the universities.
During the Exhibition that was held from March 21 to 23, 2018, the Ajman’s pavilion saw a distinguished turnout that reflected reputation of the emirate in the education sector. The participating universities under the umbrella of Ajman Chamber “City University College in Ajman (CUCA), and Gulf Medical University (GMU)” briefed the visitors on the most important advantages and disciplines offered to the students from enrolling until graduation.
Head of the delegation, Naser Al Dhafri, said “The participation in the Exhibition comes in line with the strategic plan adopted by Ajman Chamber in cooperation with universities and higher education institutions in the emirate that aim at participating in the international forums concerned with the education and training sector in the Arab and foreign countries.”
He also noted that the participation aimed at introducing the most important and competitive advantages possessed by the emirate in the education and training sector. Ajman universities are also seeking to attract students to study in Ajman, as well as building partnerships and enhancing cooperation with educational institutions outside the country. This is besides the importance to share experiences and adopt the cutting-edge and innovated means of education to enhance the emirate’s efforts to develop the education system in a sustainable manner, Al Dhafri added.
He continued “Ajman Chamber adopts several tools to support the educational sector in the emirate in general and universities and institutions of higher education in particular, such as the Ajman International Exhibition for Education and Training (AETEX)”
It engages the local institutions in various international exhibitions, which translates the keenness and guidance of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, to make the emirate a regional hub for higher education and academic training. The emirate possesses distinguished elements and pioneering educational cadres that foster the sector locally, regionally and internationally, he added.
It is worth noting that the Ajman Chamber in February 2018 led a number of the emirate’s universities to the “World Top Boarding Schools International Fair” in Nigeria in Abuja and Lagos. This came as part of the Ajman Chamber’s efforts to introduce the educational sector in Ajman and highlight the emirate’s colleges and universities internationally. The Chamber further intends to expand its foreign participation in a number of Arab and foreign countries during the coming period, Al Dhafri said.
