Dubai. February 24, 2024: The Junior Trumpet magazine, a space for young talent to shine, is now two months old. In its second month, the Dubai magazine has joined hands with Teen Art Awards, a flagship project for the Art.Coordinate Foundation. More than 320 (13-17 year-olds) entries from 38 countries were received as part of the call for the Awards, and Sharjah-based young artist Fatema Ezzy has made it to the short-listed entries for the Awards, whose works would be part of the grand Teen Art Awards Ceremony on March 2 at SEE Institute Dubai Sustainable City. The theme that the teens worked on was: “Sustainable world: society of the future through the prism of art.”
The Junior Trumpet’s Editor-Founder, Purva Grover, said, “Our magazine’s objective is to emerge as a platform for young talent to shine, and we’re so happy to be associated with the International Teen Art Awards, which is not just a competition but a platform for professional growth and implementing bold ideas.” Daria Kalinina, author of the idea, founder, and president of The Art.Coordinate Fund, added, “I am a dreamer, rebel, and teenager at heart; teens’ courage, ambition, and inner freedom is my biggest reward. And, I am excited to be here in the UAE, joining hands with like-minded individuals to provide opportunities for the young talent.”
